By 2011 Coodley had produced 104 CD's, having sold the Metro Library to 615 Music/Warner Chappell Production Music. In 2007 he formed Mitch Coodley Music for composing, producing and consulting.
Mitch recently created a new boutique startup catalog called The Buzz Music. This high-end production music includes a variety of styles, with 25 albums and growing.
In 1988 Mitch launched Metro Music Productions, a full-service music production house in NYC, specializing in music for news, sports, and on-air promotion. At the same time, he introduced the Metro Music Production Library. Coodley built the Metro catalog into a highly successful worldwide brand, distributing production music on every continent. His outstanding acoustic and electric guitar work, composing, arranging, engineering, and graphic designs are evident throughout the catalog.
